Exquisite corpse is a game by which a collection of images is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to the composition in sequence by being allowed to see only the end of what the previous person contributed. The game was invented by surrealists and is similar to an old parlor game called consequences in which players would write in turn on a sheet of paper, fold it to conceal part of the writing, and then pass it to the next player for a further contribution.
In this class you will create 3 different parts, head, body, feet. Once each component is completed, you will chose the parts blind as the parts will be covered. Compose your parts into a sculpture, you may need to attach/ problem solve for size differences- you may need to add/subtract as needed to create a surreal sculpture.
